Join our local partner tour operator, ABCD Travels and team for a local cooking experience and learn how to make some of the daily meals enjoyed by people in the township. Our local families/ hosts will give us a background on what we will be cooking on the day, and provide us with cooking ingredients as well as the recipes.Â

ABCD Travel is a township-based tour operator in the heart of Khayelitsha, Cape Town’s largest and most vibrant township. Effective Date: 01 January 2025 Thank you for choosing to explore our vibrant townships with us. We understand that plans may change, so we've designed a fair cancellation policy to protect both our guests and our team. 1. Cancellations by Guests More than 72 hours before tour: Full refund. Between 72 and 24 hours before tour: 50% refund. Less than 24 hours before tour or no-show: No refund. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the tour. Requests made less than 24 hours before the tour will be subject to a 25% rebooking fee and subject to availability. 3. Cancellations by the Operator If we cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered: A full refund, or A chance to reschedule the tour at no additional cost. 4. Group Bookings (5+ People) 50% deposit required to secure the booking. Cancellations 7 days or more in advance: Full refund of deposit. Cancellations within 7 days: Deposit is non-refundable. 5. No-Shows Guests who do not arrive on time or fail to attend without notice will not receive a refund. 6. How to Cancel Cancellations must be made in writing via email melanintravelsmagic@gmail.com and to our partner contact@abcd-concepts.co.za Time of cancellation is based on the time the message is received.
