Tourifique, Inc. (“Tourifique”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to your privacy and protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect from you, how we use it and protect it, and the privacy rights you have.

This Policy applies to you if you use our services (including as a traveler or as a content creator), access the Tourifique website and platform (collectively, the “Platform”), are featured in any content posted to the Platform, or if you otherwise interact with us.

In this Policy:

• “Personal information” or “your information” means information that identifies or can identify you or another individual (this includes media like photos and videos).
• “User-generated content” means any photos, videos, text, information, media, or other content uploaded to the Platform by users (including travelers and content creators).

If you provide us with personal information about third parties, such as by uploading user-generated content to the Platform featuring other individuals, you represent to us that you have that person’s consent to provide it to us or that you otherwise have the legal authority to do so.

How We Handle Your Personal Information

Collecting Your Personal Information

We collect information about you directly from you when you interact with us or with the Platform, such as when you create an account, use or visit the Platform, and when you upload or share any user-generated content to the Platform.

Specifically, we collect the following types of personal information from you:

• Biographical information, including your name, date of birth, and country of residence.
• Contact information, including your email address and phone number.
• Payment information, including information about the method of payment you use to purchase a trip, experience, or other offering through the Platform (such as credit card information), as well as your financial account information if you are a content creator.
• User data and correspondence, including your Platform username and password, information about how you use the Platform, and any information you provide when you contact us with questions, feedback, reviews, or otherwise communicate with us.
• Online activity information, including information about your device, how you use and browse our Platform, and your IP address, which we obtain from your online interactions with us. See “Interacting with us online” below for details.
• Information you choose to provide, including any information about yourself (including photos, videos, and other media) that you upload or otherwise share to the Platform. This also includes information you voluntarily share about where you travel, your background, the languages you speak, and your identity.

Collecting Information from Other Sources

Most of the personal information we collect comes directly from you or your device, as described above. We may also collect personal information about you from other individuals if they upload or share any user-generated content that contains information about you (such as a picture that you are featured in).

If you are concerned about a photo or video of you that has been featured on the Platform that you did not share yourself, please see the section below entitled “Your Rights” for details on what you can do.

Using Your Personal Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

• Providing and supporting the Platform. This includes operating, maintaining, and delivering the Platform; administering and verifying your Platform account; customizing your experience on the Platform; and providing user support.
• Connecting you with trips and experiences. This includes facilitating your transactions with our partners that provide trips, experiences, and other offerings for you to purchase. For content creators, it also includes connecting you with our partners and establishing sponsorship and affiliate relationships.
• Communicating with you. This includes responding to your requests, questions, feedback, or concerns.
• Improving and monitoring the Platform. This includes evaluating and improving the Platform and your experience, identifying usage trends, developing new products and services, and related data analytics.
• Promoting the Platform. This includes sending you marketing messages and offers from us and our trusted partners, as well as our use of user-generated content in marketing and promotional materials, including advertisements.
• Protecting you and us. This includes investigating and protecting against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, or illegal activity, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and protecting our property (including the Platform), interests, and legal rights.
• Any other purpose with your direction or consent.

Sharing Your Personal Information

Whatever the purpose may be, we only share your information to the extent reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes listed above. We may share or disclose your information to any of the following parties:

• Affiliates and partners. To perform the activities mentioned above, we may share your information with our affiliates and partners, including the organizations we partner with to provide you with trips, experiences, and other offerings on the Platform.

  • Assist with IT functions, such as operating and protecting the Platform.
  • Improve our ability to communicate and manage our relationship with you.
  • Market the Platform and other services to you, including providing support for advertising campaigns.
  • Assist with data analytics that help us run, grow, and develop the Platform.
  • Obtain professional advice and services, such as from lawyers or accountants.

  When we disclose personal information to third-party service providers, we prohibit them from accessing your personal information for any purpose other than to perform these support services.

Interacting with Us Online

Our Platform may include links to other websites that are operated or controlled by a third party. This may include some of our partner organizations. These websites are not governed by this Policy, and we encourage you to review any privacy policies associated with linked third-party websites.

If you do provide personal information to a third party through a third-party website, please note that we are not responsible for how that third party handles your personal information, and any handling of your information by such parties will be governed by their own privacy policies.

How We Protect Your Information

We also have technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we handle.
